IMPLEMENTASI EKOSISTEM MULTISENSORI (BRAILLE, AUDIO DAN CERAMAH) PADA PEMBELAJARAN PAI BAGI SISWA TUNANETRA DI SLB A YKB GARUT

Abstract
Learning for students with visual impairments requires appropriate strategies and media to ensure optimal understanding. Braille, audio, and the lecture method are approaches frequently used in Special Needs Schools (SLB) because they are appropriate to student needs. This study aims to describe the implementation of Braille, audio, and the lecture method in teaching students with visual impairments at SLB A YKB Garut, and to identify the support needed for their implementation. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through interviews and documentation. The results showed that all three methods were implemented simultaneously because they complement each other. Braille is used to improve reading and writing skills, audio facilitates faster comprehension through listening, and the lecture method provides direct understanding and strengthens student understanding. The study also found that there were no major barriers to implementation due to school support, particularly the availability of adequate Braille books and teaching materials. Thus, the combination of Braille, audio, and the lecture method is considered effective in supporting the learning process for students with visual impairments. This study contributes recommendations for integrating tactile and auditory media as a standard procedure for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction for visually impaired students in special schools (SLB).
